I am installing a new style fuel tank per the 1980 drawing and wondering why is there a cruise and aerobatic/reserve outlet.
Wouldn't it be simpler to just draw from the aerobatic/reserve outlet and have a simple on/off valve like I had on the original?

I am sure there is a reason but I don't see it.
