Hi, I am a newbie to the forum, aka. Thomas Shpakow, However not to aircraft building and performance mods. A new item that I have developed is an interface ignition set-up for Slick and Bendix Aircraft Mags. With great results, check it out at the link below. Iíll be in KOSH this year parked @ the IAC Head Quarters, Like to meet you and talk performance and more.

Sincerely,

Thomas S.

When we got transistors , they made coils with faster rise

in primary winding , cause T' could charge coil in microseconds.

it was so fast , they needed no lead time to charge coil .

Todays cars simply trigger T' on and tolerate a few microseconds

of inaccuracy ! The delay til actual spark is nothing .

There is no more reliable , better system . Even
motorcycles that used a high voltage coil then CDI ,
can benefit from the new system ,

all thats needed is
to optimize the T' , It will short the coil til the magnet
and coil are at max output ( max stored field ),
then it opens .

BTW i will build
planes using 3 yamaha motorcycle
engines
450 hp take-off ,
30hp cruise . a slow , econo plane .
