I'll have to say that is an interesting concept. Not seen it before. Seems to work very well.

Since Tom was nice enough to allow me moderator privilages, I decided that I would make this topic sticky. That means that it will appear at the top of the forums so that new people coming here will see it right away. _________________

Cam,
Hey, that's a very subtle news flash:
We have a moderator for this BB and you are it!!!
Congratulations!
Now, we all await the new and beautifully simplified picture posting procedure! What's that? Not the moderators job. Darn!
Cheers, Frank _________________ Cheers, Frank |

Thanks Frank
Actually it isn't my job. It will be up to Tom and/or others at Aircraft Spruce. Though I am sure that they will be willing to hear my input. I'll probably be looking into what options are available in the next few days. But I wouldn't expect a change too soon. Sometimes these things are not as simple as they seem. Remember that it took a while to get the pictures on the old site. And a lot of people still had trouble with it. _________________

Jim,
I see color coding now for various models of Starduster kits. Great idea, but our Acroduster (blue!) is still colored as a Starduster (red). How are those colors set or changed? _________________ Cheers, Frank |

Frank,
I can edit your entry or you can delete and re-enter your info. It appears the selection only comes up on original entry unless I do it through admin.
Give me a little more info to find you and I can do it with a click.

I'm not sure why this dissappeared off of the forum. But I seem to have gotten it to come back. _________________

It may have something to do with my membership ID and posts dissappearing. When my ID disappeared, it seems that some of the posts and topics I replied to also disappeared.

If you haven't looked at the pin map lately you are missing out. Put yourself on the map and post your 'duster photo. I've gotten some great ideas for my restoration just from the photos. |
