It looks like all the starduster guys have adopted this as their new home. I was wondering if anyone might like to chat about Pitts. I am building or rather trying to finish an old S-1 project. It is taking a lot more time and $$ than I thought. Oh well.

Rented a hangar today. He flies a Pitts acrobatically at the airport: 10C. He was interested in sharing the hangar with my Hummel CA-2 (about to pick it up from the guy who 90% built her). He offered me about 25% of the cost of the hangar, and would use more space than my plane! Guess I know why now, eh?

I will see if he has info to share, and if he uses the web for such things.

Hi, thanks for the reply. I have been getting along pretty good so far with my Pitts. I now have the engine just about together and ready to hang on the plane. I have since found and met a couple of local Pitts pilots and we are sharing info. I am getting excited again after 2 and a half years since I started on the "almost finished" project.

Your airport looks nice but it is about 4oo mi from me. (airnav.com)

I would like to hear more about your CA-2. I tried several years ago to build the earlier Hummelbird. I may try again some day.

Good luck!
Wally
